Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!
As I reflect on 2022 I am overcome with gratitude for what opportunities I have had with my art hobby! I want to say thank you for everyone's support!!!
One of my proudest moments was having my first children's book as an illustrator published! I never could have guessed how supportive all my friends and family would be and I am so grateful for everyone who purchased a copy through Amazon!
If you still need a copy, here is a link!

Going into 2023, my ideas are endless, but my time is short.. (turns out 6 kids take up a lot of time! 😂 I love it though!) I look forward to seeing where God leads us this year!

Just a few Christmas Ornaments

Friends,
I have thoroughly enjoyed painting all of your ornaments this year! I painted too many to count! I haven't posted most of them because I know they are gifts, but now after Christmas I can reveal some!
Thanks so much for picking my artwork to be the special gift you give! It means so much to me!!!!

What's new in October?

Greetings!
I hope you are cherishing this short season of perfect weather! In Mississippi the days of fall weather seem to go too fast! I am spending every day outside with my kids as much as I can! The fresh air is so good for all of us!
I've also managed to fit in some ornament painting!
I opened up some spots for Custom Pet Portrait Ornaments and they have filled up so quickly! I may need to PAUSE the commissions until I can catch up. Check out some of the ones I've done the last few weeks!Of course there are lots more of these, but any of them are being purchased for gifts so I can't share yet!
Send me a message on FB or IG if you want to claim one! They Are $50 each.
Enjoy!

Cat Perched Near a Window

Did you ever go to summer camp? I've had the opportunity to attend a certain faith based camp in 3 different roles- a youth participant, and adult chaperone, and on the behind the scenes camp management team! That organization left a big mark on my life and I am grateful for all of those opportunities.
The camp also brought about many deep connections with friends that I still keep in touch with more than a decade later! One friend I made reached out last week and asked if I could paint a cat portrait for his wife. Of course I was happy to do it! I believe the plan is to receive it as a Christmas gift so shh! Don't share if you recognize this cat! ☺️

Grieving a Cat

Oh it hurts to lose a pet!
Especially when that pet has been by your side through a lot of life. Pets can be the one constant through life's up and downs. Moves - heartbreaks - grief - joy - new beginnings.
It was my joy to paint this mischievous kitten for a friend who lost their furry friend!
When I saw the photo of the cat hiding in the refrigerator I knew that would be the snapshot that would always help my friend think of her cat with a smile!
Rest In Peace, little cat. Thank you for your companionship and love. 💕
